A few helpful hints for State-Wide MLS Members placing a listing ad in RILiving The Magazine:

(1) Don’t wait until the last minute - Listing ads can be ordered anytime between the latest Listing Ad Entry Deadline and the deadline for the upcoming edition.

(2) Know your audience - Remember, RILiving The Magazine is for consumers, so try not to use abbreviations or slang that may only be known to other Members.

(3) Take advantage of the Ad Banner – each listing ad can include a free, optional “banner” that will appear above the listing photo…use it! Announce new listings and open houses or make your listing stand out with a highlight about the property like “Beautiful Landscaping!” or “New In-ground Pool!”.

(4) Keep it simple – keep your Ad Description text clear and concise – avoid long sentences which may become confusing.

(5) Be careful – be sure not to include any words or phrases prohibited by HUD and take the time to check your spelling and grammar.
